Jeremiah Barber is a media artist. He studies transcendence through absurdity and humor, tackling the impractical object, the impossible task, and the weariness of time.
We lay in a pool of water speaking of half-memories
I wait below the water until the color dissipates
I reach to stabilize the burning head
A short cut through a field
Falling from the tree
I walk through the industrial sector that surrounds my house
I create a mirrored self from smoke
